• Encouraged observation of National Black HIV Day 

• Participated in the Health Department accreditation review

• Encouraged observation of National Week of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS

• Initiated guest speakers for monthly Council meetings

 

April 

• Launched NVCCPHA Website

• Encouraged observation and participation of National HIV Testing Day 

• Circulated HIV Testing bulletin inserts and talking points to northern Virginia Churches for National Testing Day 

 

August 

• The NVCCPHA Information booth was on display at the Northern Virginia Baptist Association Conference (NVBAC)

• Encouraged participation from new churches while at the NVBAC

• The NVCCPHA was Incorporated

• Created NVCCPHA logo buttons

• Participated in "Hands-on" HIV/AIDS Curriculum Training

• Created NVCCPHA Brochure

• Attended Fairfax County World AIDS Day Proclamation

• NVCCPHA received recognition for its work from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors   

• Hosted Hoops in Virginia 3on3 Basketball Tournament and HIV/AIDS Summit

• Created NVCCPHA drawstring bags and bracelets
